Come and join us to clean up the ocean from fishing line! STCB will be organizing a fishing line clean-up dive for BonDoet 2024. Fishing line is a big threat for the sea turtles around Bonaire. Every single year we receive several phone calls about sea turtles with fishing hooks or sea turtles that are caught in fishing line. In order to try to prevent these cases and help our sea turtles, we will try to clean as much fishing line as possible from the ocean floor.

We will meet at 9.00 am at the Dive Inn (Dive Friends Bonaire). Only certified divers and freedivers can join this event. Bring your certification cards, sedula or marine park tag, meshbags and sheers. We will have a few meshbags and sheers with us, but to make sure that we have enough for everyone, we ask you to please bring your own if you have some.
